If you like movies then you'll love this! THE CAIMAN follows Bruno, a famous trashy Italian B movie producer who, after a long hiatus, is to produce a film about Christopher Columbus's homecoming. When Bruno is approached by Teresa, an ambitious but novice writer-director who has written a dynamite yet damning script on Italy's Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, he gives the project the go-ahead. With his wife divorcing him and the bank knocking at his door, Bruno finds that making a socially conscious film might be the only thing worthwhile in his life! The Caiman is a classic movie-making movie and is, arguably, up there with the very best. It is funny throughout, and often hilarious. The rapid-fire dialogue doesn't give you a moment's peace as one-liners come thick and fast. The humour, and this happens so subtly you'll hardly notice, makes way for a more serious tone before the end and the movie becomes even better. As we said at the start – if you like movies then this is for you!
